Ua House, envisioned by Amar Mehta of Studio Mehta Architecture in Nairobi, embodies affordable modernism with sustainability at its core. Designed using recycled coral bricks, this off-grid home harnesses solar energy and draws inspiration from Mexican architecture, seamlessly blending into coastal Kenya's semi-arid landscape. The photography session captured the house's Wes Anderson-esque charm, showcasing its pastel colour palette and minimalist design. Throughout the day, the changing angles and shadows reveal its beauty, with the central staircase acting as a unique sundial. Additionally, the shoot featured playful elements, integrating farm animals and highlighting the new fashion line from HAMAJI Studio, making it our most enjoyable shoot to date.
